Hex-logic pads are engineered and developed for today’s pickiest detailing professionals.  Engineered, developed and tested to specific requirements of our OEM clients these pads utilize the best foams from around the world and the latest of testing and research and development including Chemical Guys own Self Centered backing system! 

Our Chemical Guys PUR+( Poly-Urethane-Reactive Bonding) backing plates can be washed hundreds of times guaranteeing a perfect grip with every use that’s to PUR+ technology. 

The Hexagon is not new to science it’s just new to detailing.  Rather then try to reinvent some catchy gimmick, Chemical Guys invests in technology that through the years has simply been unbeatable and improves on it. Hex-Logic pads are designed to hold product and distribute it evenly over the surface of the pad delivering a superior even finish that is hard to achieve with any other pad.

Nature selected the Hexagon for storage and designed it to be one of the most efficient holding cells. For example a mass of hexagonal wax cells built by honey bees in their nests to store honey and pollen. The bees build the comb with 6 sides for even distribution of product fast and effectively.

The Hex-Logic Chemical Guys Pads are meant to work on flat or rounded/angled surfaces.  The unique construction of the pads makes them extremely easy to maneuver while retailing the correct amount of product evenly distributed through the pad, Hex-Logic Pads keep product in the groves while you start and as the pad is spun and rubbed against the surface the polish will travel through the hex-groves into the pad evenly delivering a superior accurate finish. , while keeping the surface constantly lubricated to reduce friction and marring.

The unique Hex Laser Cut Surface of the pad enables Hex-Logic pads to conform to the shape of the surface delivering maximum surface contact. Color	Description	Recommended Polish/Compound
	Yellow Heavy Cutting Pad - Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches in conjunction with a polishing compound. It is the most aggressive and should only be used on oxidized and older finishes. Always follow this pad with an orange pad and a fine polish and then a white pad to refine the paint until it is smooth.	V32 Optical Grade Extreme Compound V34 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound
	Orange Medium-Heavy Cutting Pad -This firm, high density foam is ideal for scratch and defect removal. The orange foam offers the correction of a typical compounding pad while at the same time allowing the polishing ability of light cut foam pad. When used with heavier compounds it will remove moderate swirls and scratches with little or no haze. Its an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections. 	Green Heavy Polishing Pad - This pad is used by Mercedes Benz at OEM level and is designed to be used with a random orbital polisher (like the Porter Cable) It produces less spot heating and has a unique compression/load/deflection ratio which means it conforms quickly to contours. It is a high strength foam with 60 pores per sq. inch yet is softer and more forgiving than our regular foams which have 80 pores per sq. inch.  This pad is tough enough to remove swirls and scuffs while at the same time producing a high gloss swirl free finish. This foam is also ideal for applying one-step cleaner waxes. It is a balance of polishing and finishing that is perfect for all-in-one product application.	V36 Optical Grade Cutting Polish
	White Medium -Light Polishing Pad - Less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so its perfect for pre-wax cleaners. It is the most well used pad as it is ideal for application of pre-wax cleansers as well as many finishing polishes such as Pro-Polish Or FP-Final Polish.	V36 Optical Grade Cutting Polish
	Blue Glaze & Cleaner Foam Pad - Unique Composition complements all glazes and light surface cleaners perfectly delivering a super fine finish for use with ultra fine polishes life for FP or any glaze.	V38 Optical Grade Final Polish Waxes Sealants Glazes
	Black Finishing Foam - Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.	V38 Optical Grade Final Polish Waxes Sealants Glazes
	Red Perfection Pad Ultra Fine Finishing Pad - This pad has a ultra soft composition for applying refined paste waxes and sealants as well as crème waxes.
