In What Order Do I Use These Products?

With so many products to cover every area of the detailing process, you may be wondering how to use them all for maximum effect. Here we've personalized the Chemical Guys Detailing Flowchart to reflect the items in The Complete Car Care Kit. If you're just washing the car for the weekly car wash, skip the clay bar, waxing, and polishing steps.

1. Start by cleaning your wheels with Signature Series Wheel Cleaner. It is best to start by cleaning the dirtiest parts of the car first, just in case you spray some of that dirt off of the wheels and onto the paint. You also avoid water spots from any water drying all over the car as you focus on the wheels after rinsing off the paintwork.
2. After rinsing off the wheels, clean the paintwork with Mr. Pink Car Wash Soap and the Chenille Microfiber Wash Mitt.
3. Decontaminate any rough paintwork, glass, or clear plastics on the car's exterior using the OG Clay Bar and Speed Wipe Detail Spray. Break off 1/3 of the clay bar, then gently glide it over one panel at a time in a quick scrubbing motion.
4. Once the surface is smooth, spot-polish any swirls and scratches away with VSS and your machine polisher, or use it over small areas by hand.
5. Spread a thin, even coat of Butter Wet Wax over exterior paintwork for protection and a warm wet glowing shine. Spread some wax over glass to help rainwater run off without leaving any spots, and protect plastic headlight lenses against fading from UV solar rays that turn them yellow and opaque.
6. Finish it all off by spreading some Silk Shine dressing over the tires and plastic bumper trim, then clean your windows inside and out with Signature Series Glass Cleaner for a streak-free shine.
